When people come together for a common purpose, extraordinary things happen. Our group volunteer opportunities offer corporate teams, civic clubs, friend groups, and families a hands-on way to make a direct, immediate impact on the families we serve.
Whether you are preparing a meal, helping deep-clean common spaces, preparing guest rooms, or organizing donor supplies, your group’s collective energy keeps Ronald McDonald House Charleston clean, safe, and welcoming.
Have a group or team interested in volunteering? Connect with our Volunteer Manager, Abby Henry, at Abby@RonaldMcDonaldHouseCharleston.org or 843-972-3049 and discover how you can get involved.
Our most popular and essential group opportunity brings colleagues, families, and friends together in our kitchen to support families when they need it most. After a long, exhausting day at the hospital, receiving a warm, nourishing meal gives guest families one less thing to worry about so they can focus entirely on their child.
By sponsoring, preparing, or catering a breakfast or dinner, your team ensures no family at Ronald McDonald House Charleston has to worry about where their next meal is coming from. It is an incredible, hands-on team-building, experience with a direct, immediate impact on the health and well-being of the families we serve.
Whether your group is rolling up their sleeves for deep cleaning inside the House, building shelving, putting together furniture, organizing storage rooms and pantries, or other projects, your collective efforts make an immediate impact. We provide all the necessary tools and cleaning supplies; you bring the enthusiasm and hands-on energy! These projects ensure our House remains a safe, healthy, and restful retreat every day of the year. Projects are offered on an as-needed basis.
Host an activity and bring some fun to the House from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, Monday through Friday.

Your group can support our families from any location! This can make volunteering easy for large groups, and off-site opportunities are also a great way to involve future volunteers who are under 18.

Collecting pop tabs is a fun, easy, and inclusive way to support Ronald McDonald House Charleston! Every tab you donate helps us keep our doors open and allows family to stay when their critically ill child is being treated at the hospital.
